■ The Challenge

This project marked our first use of embedded glass within a straight steel string, now an iconic design for the company. The key challenge was to create a glass balustrade with no visible fixings - avoiding silicone or exposed hardware entirely - while ensuring the structure remained fully secure and visually seamless.

■ The Solution

The glass balustrade was designed to slot directly into the steel string, with no visible fixings, creating a seamless appearance. Four glass panels rise elegantly along the staircase, finished with a beautifully crafted round walnut handrail that completes the design and adds warmth to the minimalist, architectural aesthetic.
