Higher Green Lane

A cantilever staircase was an obvious choice for this converted milking shed. The beam-like treads highlighted a clear connection to the old timber frame which remained throughout the open plan living space. The treads are laminated in layers to retain the end grain detail, highlighting the use of solid timber.
